In exactly a month from today the final nine player at the 2008 WSOP will start playing for the bracelet and the huge prize pool. So we thought it would be a good idea to freshen up your memory with the chip counts at the final table. Once the final table starts we will be reporting about the progress in this Poker Blog.

The chip counts for the 2008 WSOP Final Table are:

2. Ivan Demidov, Russia - $24 400 000
3. Scott Montgomery, Canada - $19 690 000
4. Peter Eastgate, Denmark - $18 375 000
5. Ylon Schwartz, USA - $12 525 000
6. Darus Suharto, Canada - $12 520 000
7. David “Chino” Rheem, USA - $10 230 000
8. Craig Marquis, USA - $10 210 000
9. Kelly Kim, USA - $2 620 000

In a couple of days i will put up a post with my prediction for the winner of the 2008 WSOP Main Event. Feel free to post a comment about who you think will end up the winner. Without have looked in to these players at all i can probably say that it is safe to assume that a Team PokerStars player will be up there fighting for the win.
